The Crawford Story
The first Crawford School opened its doors in Killarney, Johannesburg, in 1993. Today, the Crawford collection of schools
constitute the largest single private school organisation in South Africa. The group boasts 19 schools known for their future-focused, innovative approach to education.

Your school of voice and choice
While many schools expect students to conform by wearing the same uniform, taking the same subjects, and being taught by an appointed teacher, Crawford International students can make personal decisions around what best suits them as unique individuals. We embrace each child’s individualism by allowing them to have a choice in the bouquet of subjects that they can take, a choice in subject teachers for specific grades, and a choice in the uniform (multiform) they wear.

Enrolling our son at Crawford International Sandton College has been one of the best decisions we’ve made. The school’s dynamic learning environment, passionate educators, and strong sense of community have made a meaningful difference. In just one term, he’s grown in confidence, curiosity, and a genuine love for learning. My daughter Taya has been at Crawford since grade 000 and is now in Grade 12. I love how Taya has been encouraged to think and grow as an individual throughout her career thus far. It is a wonderful situation when you know your child is receiving continued support academically and socially. Even though there are bumps along the way the premise is always to resolve and restore confidence in the students.
