Embracing Creativity
We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new atelier, a creative space for our youngest students to explore and express their artistic talents. As a PYP-authorised school, our curriculum nurtures inquiry and hands-on learning, inspired by the child-centred Reggio Emilia approach.
Our atelier is designed to support exploration with adaptable setups like light tables, overhead projectors, and unique materials, sparking curiosity and creative thinking. Teachers guide these explorations, integrating artistic experiences into broader learning.
We look forward to welcoming parents and community members into this collaborative space, where imagination, learning, and connection flourish together.

With guidance from educators and industry experts, our Subject Choice Evening helped students reflect on their future aspirations and make informed choices that align with their goals. African Encounters Eco Life Science Excursion
Our Grade 10 students from Crawford International Bedfordview recently took part in an enriching Life Sciences excursion at African Encounters Eco Safari in Magaliesburg. This hands-on experience at a family-run game farm dedicated to wildlife preservation offered an immersive look into ecological concepts studied in class.
Students explored topics like ecological succession, invasive species, and conservation. Observing the impact of invasive black wattle on South Africa's native flora sparked discussions on ecosystem balance, while encounters with wildlife such as sable antelope, springbok, and ostriches deepened their understanding of animal interactions. Walking through the bush, students examined skeletons and tracks, enriching their insights into food webs, decomposition, and ecosystem dynamics.
This practical experience brought classroom learning to life, inspiring students with a deeper appreciation for Life Sciences and conservation, creating lasting memories and a renewed enthusiasm for the natural world.
