Crawford International Bedfordview Preparatory
Crawford International Bedfordview Preparatory welcomes students from Grade 1 to 7. We aspire to provide students with the best possible all-round education.
We measure our students’ performance against credible international standards. Crawford International Preparatory Schools have been awarded authorisation as International Baccalaureate (IB) World Schools offering the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP). The programme is internationally recognised and aims to develop students as global citizens.
In a vibrant, challenging, and enjoyable environment, we aim to teach independent thinking and inculcate habits of work and study that equip each student to succeed.
We pride ourselves on the fact that we offer a wide variety of cultural enrichment and subject offerings. The inclusion of the arts and expanded language offerings, including English, Afrikaans, isiZulu and Italian among others (at a conversational and a formal level), aligns with our aim to provide a holistic education.
Experienced local and international teachers lead our programmes and tap into the inquiring minds of our future changemakers. Schools have been awarded authorisation as International
Baccalaureate (IB) World Schools offering the International
Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP). The programme
is internationally recognised and aims to develop students as
global citizens.
The programme places emphasis on universal development, and as such, is designed to develop students’ understanding of challenges and experiences of others locally and globally through continually exploring real-world issues. Our schools offer an enriched curriculum, incorporating technology to enhance the learning experience, a variety of option subjects and a focus on the arts.
World-Class Education
Crawford International collaborates with the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) to bring world-class education to our schools.
The IB programmes are unique and encourage students to:

- Evolve as inquirers, both within and beyond the classroom;
- Consider varied contexts – personal, local and global – when engaging in their units of learning and the related conversations;

Sports, Arts & Culture
We motivate our students to try new pursuits by offering a variety of opportunities within and beyond the classroom. By exposing students to a variety of activities, students learn essential life skills such as team play, leadership, and sportsmanship.

Facilities
Aftercare/Adventure Club
We offer a safe and secure space for students from 12:50 to 17:30. Lunch is given as soon as students arrive at aftercare, and a snack is provided at 15:00.
Atelier
The atelier is where our students can spark their creativity and produce all kinds of things from their imagination through painting, drawing and other artistic mediums.
Learning Support
Access to Support Services including Educational Psychologist, Occupational Therapy, Play Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy as well as Academic Support.
Fees for 2025
Crawford International Bedfordview Preparatory provides an all-inclusive offering* to give our students every opportunity to develop holistically. Fees include professional school photographs as well as a digital yearbook.
