Crawford gears up for a refurbishment!

Big news! We have begun the roll out of our planned refurbishments at our Crawford International campuses across the country. And while we will always keep elements of the traditional Crawford brand that makes up our heritage, we are also embracing a more colourful future-look, at the heart of which lies the four important Crawford International Pillars.

There have been many changes to the external world over the past few years, and Crawford International Schools has experienced many internal changes too - changes that have been positive and that reflect the growth and success of the Crawford International brand. Some of those changes have included:
- Crawford Schools becoming Crawford International schools;
- Crawford International being authorised as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School;
- The implementation of Blended Learning at all Crawford International schools;
- Crawford International embracing our four core pillars – the cornerstone of the Crawford International ethos.

With all these exciting developments happening, it just made sense for us to look at refurbishing our campuses, not only to make things look nicer, but to also reflect the powerful changes and accolades of our schools and to embrace the future.
As it stands, refurbishments have already begun at the Crawford International Sandton campus, with all other campuses due to follow shortly. And although every campus is structured differently, the new design aims to unify all elements and to promote a consistent look and feel across all campuses around the country.
The most obvious change will be the colour of the buildings - with the new core colours being more neutrals and grey.
New signage will be implemented - starting from outside the campus, and working its way into the parking areas, to the directional signage and all inner-school signage as well. Reception areas will receive a facelift with dynamic light boxes, new furniture and display plinths adding to the sleek new look.
And in each school there will be a selected ‘feature wall’ that will proudly display the schools’ four core pillars: Student Agency, Personalised Learning Journey, Local & Global Relevance and Future Focused Skills.
