Fourways February 2025

Fourways Campus Family Braai
The Bring & Braai event, which has become a special annual tradition at Crawford International Fourways. This event allows us to unwind with parents while students have fun playing, creating a relaxed environment where teachers and parents can interact informally. More importantly, it strengthens the bonds within our school community, bringing everyone together as one big Crawford family. To cater to everyone, we invite different vendors to sell delicious treats for parents who prefer not to braai, as well as fun goodies like ice cream and sweets for the students.
This year, we were privileged to have BMW Fourways sponsor our jumping castles, giving students hours of fun while also showcasing their latest BMW models and engaging with parents. Additionally, Mom and Tots provided face painting for our students and generously sponsored one of the jumping castles, adding even more excitement to the day. It was truly a fantastic event filled with laughter, great food, and wonderful connections. We look forward to making it even bigger and better next year.
Understanding Zero: A Big Concept for Grade 0s
Our Grade 0 students learning about the number zero was an exciting milestone for them. Zero helps them understand the concept of “nothing” as a number and lays the foundation for important Mathematics skills like counting and place value. To make this learning fun, they incorporate activities like writing numbers, including zero, on bricks with chalk. This hands-on activity helped the students visualize and connect with the concept in a playful way. Together, we are making Maths a fun and engaging adventure!
Friendship Day Picnic
This Valentine’s Day, we celebrated Friendship Day with a fun-filled picnic. As a campus, we recognise that love isn’t just about romance, it’s about the amazing friends who make life special. Our Pre-Primary students brought, picnic blankets, and good vibes for a day of laughter, games, and unforgettable moments.
Valentines Day
In celebration of Valentine's Day, the Grade 6 and 7 students experienced Book Speed Dating. They spent five minutes with each book and had to rate whether or not they were interested in a second date based on their first impression of the title or cover, small talk (blurb) and the deep conversation (the number of pages read). We hope that this is the start of a beautiful friendship.
