At Crawford International North Coast Preparatory, we challenge every traditional and conventional practice in education in our country.
We provide students with access to our internationally renowned educational offering as Crawford International North Coast Preparatory is an authorised International Baccalaureate World School offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP). The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme offers students further opportunities to become active, caring, lifelong learners who are able to demonstrate respect for themselves and others while developing the capacity to confidently participate in the world.
The International Baccalaureate further enhances the rigorous, globally aligned academic programme at our preparatory schools, preparing students to excel at high school and beyond.

We measure our students’ performance against credible international standards. Crawford International Preparatory Schools have been awarded authorisation as International Baccalaureate (IB) World Schools offering the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP). The programme is internationally recognised and aims to develop students as global citizens.
The programme places emphasis on universal development and as such, is designed to develop students’ understanding of challenges and experiences of others locally and globally through continually exploring real-world issues. Our schools offer an enriched curriculum, incorporating technology to enhance the learning experience, a variety of option subjects and a focus on the arts. This allows our students every opportunity to develop holistically.

Facilities
Boarding
Individual room, termly boarding is available on our campus subject to availability, for students from Grade 6. Our boarding promotes independence and community and ensures privacy and tranquillity, while our campus offers safety and serenity. Located just a 10-minute drive from Durban’s King Shaka International Airport, we are conveniently located for both our national and international students. Our boarders live and learn in a safe home-from-home environment and are able to take advantage of exciting sporting, cultural, leadership and as well as social activities , led by our highly experienced and nurturing staff. Please ask our Admissions Team for a tour of either the girls’ or boys’ boarding when booking your school tour.
Crawford Kidz Club
Our Crawford Kidz Club runs each afternoon of term until 17:30. The afternoon includes supervised home learning as well as time to engage in various educational games, balanced with free play.
