Grade 00 Explores Farm Animals' Diets
Our Grade 00 students engaged in interactive sorting activities to learn about farm animals' diets. They discovered which animals prefer:
Hay: Cows, sheep, horses, and goats
Grass: Cows, sheep, horses, and goats
Grains and Plants: Pigs, chickens, and turkeys
Fruits and Vegetables: Pigs, chickens, turkeys, and ducks
The excitement reached its peak with a visit from the Children's Farm, where they:
Fed and petted friendly goats and sheep
Watched playful pigs
Observed chickens pecking at grains
This hands-on experience enhanced their understanding of animal diets and developed their skills in classification, critical thinking, and compassion for animals.
